Baroque Ceramic Tray in Yellow and Blue

We call this the vassoio barocco Masa. It's a rectangular serving tray with those classic baroque-style handles and a scalloped edge — all shaped and glazed by hand in Vietri sul Mare. The whole tray is painted in a warm yellow that immediately catches the eye.

The centre features a deep cobalt blue field surrounded by a wreath of hand-painted fruit: lemons, oranges, red apples, and golden grape clusters, all connected with teal-green leaves and vines. The yellow glaze extends across the rim and handles, with more greenery trailing along the edges. It's a bold colour combination — the kind of thing that looks right at home on an Italian table.

You can use it for serving — it's a good size for cheeses, cured meats, or pastries, and the handles make carrying easy. Many customers also keep it on a shelf or hang it on the wall as a decorative piece. Either way, it brings a lot of colour to the room.

Because everything is painted freehand, each tray looks slightly different. The fruit might be placed a little further left or right, or the blue centre might have a slightly different depth. That's just the hand of the artisan at work.
