Floral Wall Plate with Pink Rim

One of the more feminine pieces in our collection, and one that people often stop to look at twice. The falda — the wide, slightly raised rim — is painted in soft pink with a scrolling vine pattern in deeper rose. Inside, a garland of flowers fills the bowl: daisies, roses, blue forget-me-nots, yellow buttercups, and a blue ribbon bow at the top.

Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare paint every petal freehand, building up the wreath directly on the glazed surface. The colours are soft but clear — pinks, yellows, purples, blues and greens on a white background. The plate has a gentle bowl shape, about 35 cm across, which adds depth to the design and makes the flowers feel like they're sitting inside a frame.

You could hang this in a bedroom, a sitting room, or a hallway. The pink tones make it easy to pair with neutral walls, and the size is right for a spot where you want something decorative without being overwhelming. Some customers also use our falda plates on an easel or plate stand.

Like everything we carry, this plate is handmade in small batches. If you look closely, you'll notice the brushstrokes — the way each flower is shaped with just a few confident movements. That's the hand of the artisan, and it's what makes each piece different.
