Ceramic Oil Dispenser

We call it oliera — a ceramic oil dispenser made by hand in Vietri sul Mare. Our artisans shape it on the wheel, glaze it with food-safe enamels, and paint it freehand in the traditional Vietri style. Each dispenser has its own character because every brushstroke is applied by hand.

The shape is practical: a round body that sits steady on the table, a narrow neck for controlled pouring, and a small handle for a secure grip. It is sized to hold a good amount of olive oil for daily table use without being bulky.

Down here on the Amalfi Coast, good olive oil is part of every meal. Having a proper ceramic dispenser keeps the oil cool and protected from light, which helps preserve the flavour. We see customers use these every day at home, and they also make a thoughtful gift — especially for anyone who loves Italian cooking.

Part of our Vietri Collection. Like everything we carry, it is made in small batches by local artisans. Small variations in colour or brushwork are normal and reflect the handmade process.
