Small Salt and Pepper Shaker Set
A compact sale e pepe set in ceramic, painted freehand with lemons and fruit. Handmade in Vietri sul Mare.
In Italian, sale e pepe — salt and pepper. Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare make these small shaker sets entirely by hand: two round-bellied shakers sitting in a double-well ceramic caddy with a handle in between for carrying. Each shaker has "Sale" and "Pepe" written on the top in freehand lettering, with small holes for dispensing.
The decoration features lemons, grapes, and leaves painted on a white body, with yellow tops and a sponged green handle. The caddy base has a yellow stripe and green-teal rim. Everything is painted freehand — no transfers, no stencils — so the fruit on one shaker will look slightly different from the other.
It's a compact set, easy to pass around the table or tuck next to the stove. The caddy keeps both shakers together so you always know where they are. We sell a lot of these as gifts because they're useful, easy to pack, and they bring a little colour to any kitchen.
Made in small batches by the ceramists of Vietri sul Mare. The glaze is food-safe and easy to clean. Small variations in brushwork are normal and part of what makes each set unique.
