Handpainted Planter with Fruit in Yellow and Blue

Our Masa cachepot is one of the most popular pieces we carry, and it's easy to see why. The top half is painted a warm yellow, the bottom a deep blue, and wrapping around the middle is a generous garland of hand-painted fruit — lemons, red apples, pears, and bunches of grapes, all surrounded by green leaves and small branches. Blue scrollwork curls along the lower portion.

Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare shape each cachepot on the wheel and paint every fruit and leaf freehand. The yellow and blue colour combination is classic to the Amalfi Coast, and the Masa pattern in particular has been part of our collection for many years. It looks right at home on a terrace overlooking the sea or on a kitchen counter in the middle of a city.

Available in several sizes, so whether you need something for a small herb pot or a larger houseplant, there's one that fits. The ceramic is thick, the glaze is glossy, and it cleans up easily with a damp cloth.

Because each piece is hand-painted, the fruit may sit slightly differently or the blues may vary a shade from one cachepot to the next. That's how you know it was made by a person and not a machine.
