Handpainted Decorative Plate

Each of these plates is shaped on the wheel and painted freehand by our artisans in Vietri sul Mare. They have a scalloped edge, a white centre, and a wide decorative band around the rim — all painted with small motifs that change depending on the colour you choose. A ring of hand-dotted circles runs along the outer edge of every plate.

We carry them in a range of colours. The purple one has butterflies and small leaf shapes on a lilac background. The orange version has abstract geometric fish on a warm ochre ground. Green features the same little fish motifs on a grassy green wash. Red has birds — small, stylised, with dots and dashes — on a deep rose background. Yellow shows butterflies and flowers on a sunny ground. Blue has abstract roses and clover shapes on a dark cobalt background. And the sky-blue version has birds on a soft, pale blue field. Each colour has its own personality.

The inner ring is finished with a thin teal or green band, and the centre is left clean white. They're a good size for side plates, dessert, or aperitivo snacks. Many customers collect several colours and mix them on the table — the scalloped shape and dotted border tie them together.
