Ceramic Plate Set with Lemon Pattern

What you see here is a full set from our Piazzetta Collection — a large round plate in the centre surrounded by six crescent-shaped side dishes that fit around it like petals. Together they form a complete serving arrangement for the table. Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare make and paint each piece by hand.

Every piece carries the same pattern: yellow lemons on their branches with green leaves, painted on a cobalt blue background. The large centre plate has a white and yellow centre with the lemon band running around its wide rim. The six side dishes are arc-shaped, each with the same lemon-and-leaf motif on blue. When you arrange them around the main plate, you get a flower-like layout that covers a good portion of the table.

We see people use this for antipasti — olives in one section, cheese in another, cured meats in a third, with a main dish in the centre. It also works for a buffet setup or as a display piece on a sideboard. The side dishes can be used separately too, for individual servings or as small bowls.

Each piece is painted freehand, so the lemons and leaves will look slightly different from one dish to the next. That's what gives a handmade set its character — it matches without being uniform.
