Sunflowers and Poppies Small Wall Plate on Blue

A compact 26 cm wall plate with a bold pairing of sunflowers and red poppies. Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare paint these freehand on a warm yellow background, with a sweep of deep blue across the bottom that grounds the bouquet and adds depth.

Two sunflowers with dark brown centres dominate the lower half of the plate, their petals reaching outward. Above them, three red poppies stand upright on green stems, with smaller leaves and curling tendrils filling in the spaces. The brushwork is loose and natural — you can see the individual strokes in each petal.

At 26 cm, this is a good size to mix with other plates from our collection. Customers often combine two or three different patterns in a wall arrangement. It also looks well on a small plate stand or tucked onto a kitchen shelf.

Every piece is shaped and painted by hand in small batches, so you'll notice slight differences from one plate to the next. That's the nature of genuine Vietri ceramics, and it's something we've always valued at our shop in Praiano.
