Praiano is a small fisherman village perched on the cliffs between Amalfi and Positano. From here you can see the legendary Li Galli islands, once home to Rudolf Nureyev. Unlike its more famous neighbours, Praiano offers a quieter, more authentic experience of the Amalfi Coast — with breathtaking views, hidden beaches, and a warm community that welcomes visitors like family.
Just around the corner you can catch a boat to Capri and its famous Faraglioni rocks, or stroll down to Positano. The narrow alleys of Praiano are adorned with ceramic installations — tiles, murals, and decorative panels that tell stories of the sea, the sun, and centuries of craftsmanship. Every corner is a discovery, and every ceramic piece carries the soul of this magical place.

Artists from around Italy were invited to create works inspired by the local traditions of Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. The result is an extraordinary open-air museum where ceramic art meets nature — a unique “street art” experience that blends contemporary creativity with centuries-old craftsmanship. Walking through Praiano, you’ll discover these installations at every turn, each one telling a story of the sea, the land, and the people who have called this place home for generations.

Our Pieces are hand made by illustrious master craftsmen of Vietri sul Mare, where the ceramics tradition was born.
The vibrant colours of our ceramics are inspired by the nature of the Amalfi Coast: the deep blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the lush green of the terraced gardens, the warm red and orange of Mediterranean sunsets, and the bright yellow of the famous Amalfi lemons. Each colour is carefully mixed and applied by hand, following recipes passed down through generations.
Our master craftsmen use ancient techniques that date back centuries: hand-forging each piece on the potter’s wheel, applying multiple layers of glaze, and painting intricate designs with fine brushes. Every ceramic piece that leaves our shop carries the unmistakable mark of genuine Italian craftsmanship — no two pieces are exactly alike.
