Handpainted Planter with Fruit on White

We call this one La Moressa. It has a clean white body with a teal-green rim and base, and around the widest part there's a garland of hand-painted fruit — yellow lemons, red apples, bunches of golden grapes — all connected by green leaves and soft teal scrollwork. The overall feel is fresh and bright without being too busy.

Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare shape each cachepot on the wheel and paint it freehand using traditional enamels. The white background lets every brushstroke show clearly, so you can really appreciate the detail in the leaves and the way the colours blend where one fruit meets the next.

Available in 15 cm and 20 cm sizes, these work well for small to medium plants — a pot of basil, a small succulent, or whatever you like. Plenty of customers also use them as pencil holders, kitchen utensil pots, or just as decorative pieces on a shelf.

As with all our handmade ceramics, slight variations in colour and brushwork are part of the deal. Each one is painted individually, so each one has its own personality.
