Colourful Flower Bedside Lamp

Fiori colorati means colourful flowers, and that is exactly what you get with this small ceramic bedside lamp. Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare shape the round base on the wheel, paint it freehand, fire it, and we pair it with a fabric shade trimmed in gold braid.

The base is a compact, globe-shaped pot in white with a cobalt blue glazed neck and foot. Around the widest part, a band of hand-painted flowers wraps the body — yellow blooms, pink daisies, small purple flowers, orange touches, and green leaves and stems, all loosely painted with visible brushstrokes. Above the flowers, blue scrollwork runs along the shoulder of the pot. The cream-coloured tapered shade has a woven gold trim along the top and bottom edges, which picks up the warmth of the yellows in the floral design.

The size is right for a bedside table or a small reading nook. It gives a soft, warm light — enough to read by, not so much that it floods the room.

As with all our lamps, each one is painted individually. The flowers will be in roughly the same positions, but the brushwork will vary slightly from lamp to lamp. The shade is included.
