Moor's Head Vase - Zahira

Zahira is a female testa di Moro with a teal and white colour scheme that feels fresh and Mediterranean. She stands about 30 cm tall and is entirely hand-sculpted and hand-painted by our artisans in Vietri sul Mare.

Her face is glazed in a clean white with simple, carefully painted features: dark eyebrows, warm brown eyes, and soft golden-orange lips. The turban is sculpted in white with shell-like detailing along the crown, and every decorative element — the crown spheres, the drop pendant on the forehead, the earrings, the beaded necklace — is glazed in a rich teal green. The single-accent colour against white gives Zahira a more minimal look compared to the multicoloured heads in our collection.

She is a good choice if your home leans toward cooler tones or if you want something that feels Mediterranean without being too busy. People place her on a shelf, a bathroom counter, a bedside table, or wherever they want a small sculptural accent. The hollow top lets you use her as a vase for a few dried stems.

As with all our teste di Moro, each Zahira is different. The teal glaze will vary in depth, the facial features will have their own subtle character, and the beads may sit just a little differently. These small variations are what handmade means.
