Sunflowers and Poppies Small Wall Plate

A smaller version of our sunflower wall plate — same design spirit, just sized down to 26 cm so it's easier to fit into a group arrangement or a tighter wall space. Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare paint each one by hand, freehand, with no stencils.

Two sunflowers with deep brown centres sit at the bottom of the plate, their petals loose and natural looking. Above them, three red poppies stand tall on long green stems, and the whole composition is framed by green leaves. The background is a warm golden yellow, and a band of dark blue runs along the base. The rim is finished in a matching ochre tone.

People often buy two or three of these smaller plates to hang together on a wall, sometimes mixed with other designs from our collection. They also sit well on a plate stand as a shelf decoration.

Because each plate is painted by hand, there are always small differences in the details — the way a petal curls, the depth of a colour. That's the mark of real handwork from Vietri, and it's been that way since our family started the shop in 1960.
