Green Flower Ceramic Table Lamp

Our artisans in Vietri sul Mare shape this lamp base by hand in a traditional amphora form — a tall, tapered body with two curving handles on either side. The whole piece is painted freehand and fired, then paired with a clean white cylindrical shade.

The ceramic body is covered in hand-painted flowers: roses in soft pink and peach, yellow daisies, purple irises, and plenty of green foliage filling in around them. The top, handles, and base are glazed in a rich green that gives the piece its name — fiore verde, green flower. There is a yellow decorative band near the base with a small repeated floral border. The white areas between the flowers let the design breathe, so it does not feel crowded.

The amphora shape with its twin handles makes this a substantial piece. It has real presence on a side table, a console, or a wide bedside table. The white drum shade keeps the light clean and lets the ceramic body do the talking.

Each lamp is made one at a time. The flowers are always in roughly the same arrangement, but because they are painted freehand, no two lamps will look identical. That is true of all our handmade ceramics.
